Meter Technician Training School Registration Form - Fillable PDF

Quality Certification Services Inc. (QCS) will be conducting the next Meter Technician Training School in August 2024. It is an excellent opportunity for meter technicians, both new and experienced, to refine their meter care skills and network with other meter technicians. The meter technician training school provides classroom instruction and hands-on work with various ICAR/National DHIA-certified milk meters. We will review all certified meter models but focus on Auto Samplers and Ezi-Test meters that are commonly used by those in attendance.

This school will be held during the week of August 19-23, 2024 in Hanford, CA and will be hosted by Kings County DHIA with support from National DHIA. To reduce the out-of-pocket travel expenses for attendees, the MTTS will be an intensive two-day format in 2024. Both the meeting room and meter center are air-conditioned, however there is limited seating capacity.

To provide flexibility in your schedules and accommodate attendees, there will be two groups (Tuesday-Wednesday and Thursday-Friday) during the week. The registration will allow you to select your preferred group option. Your group preference will be honored in order of receipt of registrations. Once the seats in one group are filled, registrants will be asked to join the other group. There will be no difference in the MTTS content between the two groups.

The auditing guidelines require that a meter technician must attend a meter technician training school at least once every five years to retain certification. The QCS website (www.quality-certification.com) has a current list of all certified meter technicians and the last MTTS attended. Please note that attendance is limited to ensure an effective class size.
